Topic: A discussion about going to graduate school in the mathematical sciences

Lunch will be served.
The speakers will lead a discussion about why students might want
to attend grad school in mathematics, about selecting schools, and
about the mechanics of the application process. Further conversation
will address the varied forms of financial support for graduate study
and what to expect in the first years of graduate school.
The speakers encourage members of the audience to participate with
comments and questions, and will try to keep each other's remarks
honest and clear.
