We now have evaluation criteria for sequence assembly.
June 12, 1995
Update to evaluation criteria: Using `genfrag' with a fragment length of 500 and the default variability on the length leads to fragments of length greater than 600 which exceeds the length of the error distribution file. It is therefore necessary to bound the variability to 20 %. The description of the testing procedure has been changed accordingly. The updated information can be found in the new evaluation criteria for sequence assembly. The reference to a new paper describing a fast sequence alignment program has also been added.
