DIMACS, Center for Discrete Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science, a consortium of Rutgers and Princeton Universities, AT&T Labs, Bell Labs (Lucent Technologies), NEC Research Institute, and Telcordia Technologies, invites you to attend the DIMACS CONNECT INSTITUTE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT RESEARCH CONFERENCE. The conference, sponsored in part by the National Science Foundation and the AT&T Foundation, will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2001 on the Rutgers University campus in Piscataway, New Jersey.

The conference will feature presentations by high school students on their research on topics in graph theory and its applications to the problems of society. The research papers presented at the conference resulted from intensive academic year student research experiences following a summer 2000 program of research experiences for teachers as part of the DIMACS Connect Institute (DCI). Awards will be presented for the best research presentations.

All participants are invited to a luncheon sponsored by DIMACS.

For information about the DCI program in general and an announcement about the DCI program that starts in summer of 2001, see http://dimacs.rutgers.edu/dci/.
