The first meeting, held in Princeton April 4th, 1995, featured eight invited talks presenting much of the work stimulated by Adleman's seminal paper in its first five months. We invite papers in all areas that relate directly to computing with DNA including: algorithms, applications, techniques, architectures, practical obstacles to DNA based computers, proposed solutions to such obstacles, computational processes in vivo, and relevant ideas regarding biological evolution. We particularly encourage papers reporting experimental results. Authors should submit 7 copies of a draft not to exceed 10 pages to Lisa Kuprewicz, NEC Research Institute, 4 Independence Way, Princeton NJ 08540, or else send a postscript file to: lisa@research.nj.nec.com. Deadline for receipt of papers: March 11, 1996. Authors will be informed of acceptance or otherwise by April 9, 1996. Talks will be held on Princeton University Campus. Registration fee, hotel information, etc. will be announced later. Program committee: Eric Baum, Dan Boneh, Peter Kaplan, Richard Lipton, John Reif, Nadrian Seeman.
