Workshop Announcement
The twin fields of Computational Biology and Translational Medicine are quickly emerging at the forefront of discovery and invention in the biological sciences. The availability of high quality data and an influx of researchers from diverse fields such as molecular biology, genomics, physics, mathematics, computer science, statistics, chemistry and bioinformatics is likely to significantly transform both biology and medcal practice in the next decade. This workshop aims to bring together local researchers working in these emerging areas to share their ideas and create relationships which will generate synergy and collaborations to foster new discoveries in this emerging area of research.
